"This place is truly beautiful. The approach is impressive, past horse stables and fields, in through a very impressive electric, iron, gate. The interior is spotless and very stylish, modeled after a local “Swiss Cottage.” Kathy and her staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a fantastic stay. Oh, yes, the property leads through a gate, directly to a scenic, 2 kilometer walk to an amazing castle. It’s also a stone’s throw to town. What More could you want?"

"The house is very quaint and absolutely gorgeous, we were welcomed with such warmth. A very beautiful and delicious full Irish breakfast was proposed to us for €10 each, but considering the service, the beautiful room and the food (cappuccinos, fresh orange juice, warm croissants, perfectly roasted sausages and bacon, etc.), it was worth a lot more. The house is set in a breathtaking Irish countryside scenery, right in the backyard of the 13th century Cahir Castle, with horses roaming the property. Many thanks for our night with you! I highly recommend it."

"The host was very nice and kind. She gave me many tips concerning my touristing. She built the hotel as the castle next to it. Very lovely hotel and very clean too."

"The Hostess Kathy was very friendly informative about things to do in the immediate area. There is a gate in the garden/ castle grounds wall which leads to a pleasant walk into town. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. Very pleasant place to stay. Would stay again!"

"What is there not to like about Castle Gardens? The host was wonderful, the rooms were clean and bright, the facilities excellent, the location perfect. This is a venue inspired by the surroundings and history. There is a gorgeous walk behind the property that takes you on a real-life 'enchanted forest' walk. Cahir Castle is, from memory only about a fifteen minute wander away. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the surroundings idyllic. This is how you do a bed and breakfast properly."

"I cannot even fathom where to begin. The property, the location, the scenery, the ambiance, the hostess, inside and out. It was by far one of the best places I've stayed in Ireland and abroad. Could not recommend a place to stay more. Absolute must. Kathy was above standard."

"Lovely B and B in private grounds in easy walking distance to nearby attractions-- medieval castle, 19th. century cottage, both along river walking path, and town center with shops and restaurants. Our host Kathy was delightful, full of enthusiasm and a font of information about nearby hiking and neighboring historic and charming communities. A great place to base an exploration of central Ireland (Rock of Cashel only 18 kms away, good hiking all around). Thank you, Kathy, for everything!! Lovely to meet you."

"I only had one night at Kathy's place but it was the loveliest place I stayed during my time in Ireland. The room and the house were gorgeous, but the location with the secret door to the walking path was the best part. Kathy was kind and gracious. I very much enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it to others."

"Everything, photos do not do justice to this fantastic location, quirky, bespoke built house on extensive grounds with its garden walk to the castle walls. Centre of town, secure gates, there are horses on the grounds, just lovely. My only mistake was not giving myself enough time here. Fabulous, highly recommended."
