Castle Gardens B&B is located on a picturesque and peaceful setting in what was once the gardens for the Cahir Castle.  This land is situated between the castle and the Swiss Cottage (the only cottage orné remaining in Ireland).  Just through our Secret Garden Gate is the historic walking path on which the Butler family travelled between their Cahir properties.  Guests rave about the location, as it's the perfect spot from which to experience Cahir.

The house was built in the image of both the Swiss Cottage and Cahir Castle, combining stone walls and towers with tree-like columns and delicate wallpapers.  Traditional hardwood floors and high ceilings are only part of the charm of this lovely home.  The house sits on four acres of fenced property with pastures and trees, so you can enjoy watching the horses, dogs, squirrels, and rabbits from the verandah and balcony.

In the tradition of Bed and Breakfasts, guests stay in rooms within the family home.  However, the guests can enjoy their privacy in the South Wing where sitting rooms, the veranda, and the balcony are accessible.  Breakfast is served in the sitting room near a traditional fireplace, which we will light when weather permits.

We offer a wonderful, hearty breakfast that will be sure to keep you fed for the day, whether you choose Continental or Irish Fry.

We look forward to your stay.
